This place is so expensive that Kmart is cheaper. It's a real shame as recycling goods should be people's first go to than Kmart. People on a limited income would struggle to find affordable goods here. I found alot of the clothing to be inferior branded fast fashion in poor to ok quality. Any clothing of durable material and make was about $25 a piece! I found this whole experience very disappointing . Money over sustainability and humanity it seems.
We absolutely love this place and shop their extremely regularly. While things aren't necessarily a bargain you'll definitely find things you like. It's one of the very few op shops we've been to where they've never been rude or act like you may be shoplifting as some can stalk you around the store & make you want to immediately leave.
I find they're more often then not openly helpful & they also have free bread multiple times per week
Hopefully pricing will chill out soon (across the board)
Expansive second hand store with everything from bikes to books and clothes to candlestick holders. Check out the discount colour of the day - reduced prices (though already cheap) for items with that colour price tag. Not easy to get to by public transport but does have plenty of parking.
Over over priced. People who present with a pension card or concession card should get 50% off the marked price. Isn't this what the store is about. Helping the less fortunate have a few essential and some nice items to wear. Crazy.
A very large, hidden Salvo store in an industrial style building on a quiet back street in Red Hill. One side is solely clothes, whilst the other is full or bric-a-brac, collectables, furniture, books, ornaments, antiques and the usual suspects. Could spend an hour or two here looking over everything. Well worth a visit if you're a local Brismaze op-shopper.
I highly recommend Salvos Redhill I picked up a good quality Avanti bicycle this morning in excellent condition, like brand new for a fraction of the price. I felt it was worth paying for something durable since I enjoy riding so much. There are also some top end road bicycles for the cycling enthusiasts. There is a bicycle repair and service shop there as well, which was handy to ask them questions.
Absolutely disgusting excuse of a charity!!!
The warehouse is ridiculous, people screaming at each other and the joke of a manager does nothing but takes part in the regular abuse. Safety hazards everywhere to be seen even down the driveway and people's belongings that have been donated not even treated with care.
They may say they are a charity but they treat their workers like trash as anyone can see when donating.
Been shopping here for years. Went in a couple of months ago and there was no menswear except for their mini display section at the entrance of the store... What gives? There was no notification to explain what was happening and if it would return nor where their inventory of menswear went. Because of this extremely disappointing occurrence I have not been back since... All this aside, the staff is generally very friendly.
